Idea #3: Winter Days
Medium: Art or fan-fiction
--Single picture, paneled comic, or fan-fiction exceeding 500 words.

Not a Christmas-themed contest, but a generic Winter-themed idea. Mello, either alone or with an uke (or four), enjoying (or not enjoying) your typical Wintery day. Building a snowman? Pushing old people over on icy pavement? Totally up to you! Fan-fiction would be allowed. This would be easy to convey in either medium, so it would be an "either-or" contest. Or you could even go the extra mile: submit a picture with a ficlet in the comments!

Because this is starting in mid-November, we probably aren't going to have a 'Christmas' contest proper. Sorry about that, guys. But it's all good!

That should be more than enough time for everyone to get their entries in. Again, sorry about this, guys. So basic rules and regulations, as well as my handy-dandy FAQ.

Basic Rules! Please read this!

Both fan-fiction and fanart are welcome in this contest, so go wild, guys! The ideal entry would actually be a picture with a fic to go with it, but it's not a perfect world, so...
If you are going to write fan-fiction, it MUST be longer than 500 words. And please, have the decency to either use correct spelling and grammar, run it through a spell check, or get a beta (proofreader) before you submit it.
Mature content is perfectly acceptable.
Entries will not be accepted after December 19th Central time, which is -6 GMT for all of you who need to know when that is. Why Central time? Because I live in Central time and that makes it easier on me. Yes.

Predicted F.A.Q. Section!

Q: Can it be Christmas themed?
A: Sure. There's nothing saying that it can't be. However it isn't, per se, a Christmas contest, so non-Christmasy things are fine, too. Just go wild.

Q: I can't calculate from GMT. When is Central time relative to my time?
